KITESURFING IN ESSAOUIRA
A playground for kitesurfers …
Essaouira is known as one of the best destinations in Morocco (or, rather the world) for kitesurfing. Why? It’s because of the Atlantic trade winds, the very long stretch of sandy bottom beach, and the nice surf swells that make Essaouira a playground for kitesurfing. You can expect solid weather year-round with typically 330+ days of sunshine. The kiting season is from April to October due to consistent wind conditions, but people kitesurf all year long.

Kitesurfing is an extreme watersport…
Kitesurfing requires a fair amount of athletic ability and coordination. Learning to kitesurf alone is a dangerous proposition, not just for you but for those around you. With proper kite coaching by an experienced instructor, you will progress faster, and it’s in your best interest safety-wise. It is crucial to understand that part of the learning process is to emphasize all safety procedures and practice them in order to be a safe kiteboarder. Our kitesurf lessons prioritize safety and mastering kite control before entering the water.
Learn to kitesurf with Loving Surf
We want you to be autonomous and enjoy the wonderful world of kiteboarding with others! Many students expect to strap on a board and water-start their very first lesson. Kitesurfing doesn’t take that long to learn for most people, but it’s not that quick. Hone down the fundamentals, that way when you’re out cruising on the water the odds of you putting yourself and others in a bad situation are reduced. Everyone kiting around you will appreciate it.
