At Loving Surf, our mission is to get you loving surf as much as we do! Surfing and kitesurfing are challenging sports that do take a bit of determination, energy and positive attitude. However, connecting with the ocean should be fun and relaxing, Making mistakes is a part of surfing and a part of life. We want you to feel comfortable in your surf and kitesurf journey as you learn. Get messy and come out smiling! We offer the same feeling with our beachside accomodations, Salty Essaouira. We want our students and guests to feel at home and relaxed, laidback without the stuffiness of a traditional hotel. We also know while a hostel is a fun and great environment to meet other surfers, it is not exactly the thought of comfort and cleanliness. At Salty, you get the best of both worlds with a community vibe in our common co-working space and chill area as well as our spacious Rooftop Terrace, a perfect spot to catch the sunset and a Moroccan tea to meet new friends.

Many surfers and kitesurfers are driven by conditions and required to follow the wind and waves at a moments notice. For remote workers and digital nomads this offers the ability to do so but also maintain the responsibilities of life and work. At Salty Essaouira, you can the freedom of seeing the conditions firsthand on the Ocean view Rooftop terrace, steps away from the beach and with high speed consistent wifi. What more could you ask for?!

Our Rooms offer working desk with outlets as well as a co-working space in the main floor as well as high speed wifi on our Rooftop to enjoy the sunshine while working. Whether getting away for the weekend and catching up on some work or booking a longer term stay, we can accommodate and you can enjoy life in Essaouira next to the beach! While the kitchen is reserved for staff and requires a clean space, there is a shared kitchen for use on basic items, similar to a hostel but with our daily Moroccan breakfast and so many great beachside restaurants and bars as well.
